At
present, Christ Memorial Baptist Church is actively involved in
the following ministries:
Clothing Ministry
| Sponsored and served through the Church Mission the ministry provides cleaned, pressed, and ready to wear clothing that is in good condition (not "throw away rags'). The clothing is donated by church members and members of the community. The ministry provides clothing for children and adults free of charge. |
Support and Mentoring Ministry
| Sponsored and served through the Church Mission, the ministry offers practical and spiritual support and guidance to individuals that have been or will soon be released from state and local drug rehabilitation programs. Not only does that ministry offer spiritual guidance through the Word of God, but the individual also has access to our Food and Clothing Ministries if needed. |
Goals
for the Scholarship Ministry:
| For the
Church to Provide a support system that will enhance our
higher learning student members spiritually and
financially. |
Future Vision
| Along with the expansion of our present ministries, Christ Memorial also has a vision of building a new building a new facility nicknamed, "The Faith Dome", which will include larger facilities to serve and even greater number of people within our current ministry. Also, we look forward to starting a Temporary Housing Ministry for young men and women who need a "hand up" in helping them to once again support themselves. |
The
past has been encouraging, the present is blooming with promise
and by faith the future shines bright. At Christ Memorial
Baptist Church we believe in praising and serving God. This
belief is reflected in our motto and slogan:
